About Hair Color Changer AI
A free, private, browser-based AI hair color try-on. Upload a photo, preview dozens of shades on your own hair in seconds, and download an HD result — without an app, an account, or ever uploading your photo.
Try any hair color before you commit to the dye
Choosing a new hair color is risky — salon results can be expensive to change. Hair Color Changer AI was built so anyone can preview blonde, brown, red, silver, pastel and fashion shades on their own photo before making a decision. You see how a color reads against your skin tone, in your lighting, on your hair texture.
Because everything runs locally in the browser, the tool is also genuinely private: your selfies never reach a server, are never stored, and are never used for training.
Try it on your photo
Before
AfterThree steps, entirely in your browser
1. Upload a portrait
JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB. A well-lit, front-facing portrait with visible hair gives the best mask.
2. Pick a shade
Choose from 50+ presets across natural, vibrant and fashion tabs, or use the custom color picker.
3. Compare & download
Drag the before/after slider, tune the intensity, and download a watermark-free HD PNG.
The principles behind the tool
Privacy first
Photos are processed in your browser with WebAssembly and never uploaded. There is no upload endpoint, no analytics and no photo storage in the code.
Realistic results
The recolor engine works in a perceptually uniform color space (OKLab) and locks each shade to the brightness of your photo, so hair keeps its natural strands and highlights.
Free, no watermarks
Every color preview and HD download is free. There is no account, no sign-up and no watermark on the results you download.
Made to be easy
A before/after slider, one-click color presets, a custom color picker and an intensity control make it usable by anyone — no photo-editing experience needed.
Natural-looking results, not painted-on color
The recoloring engine keeps the photo's own lighting and locks the target color's hue and chroma to your hair's brightness — so strands, highlights and face stay exactly as they are.
